Icecrown Citadel, Instance IDs, Movements and Loot

  • Instance: Icecrown Citadel

    • Blood Prince Council:
The Blood Prince Council will from now on leave the fight correctly, as soon as they are outside of the room. Furthermore, the mechanism for resetting has been changed, so there won’t be a situation that the Blood Princes aren’t attackable after a wipe.

    • Blood-Queen Lana'thel:
The protection mechanism has (again) been fixed, which prevents that the Blood-Queen is attackable or interferes in the fight, although the Blood Princes haven’t been defeated.

    • Professor Putricide:
Due to the later mentioned changes within the movement system he should no longer fall through the floor under certain circumstances.

  • Instances: ID assignment, part 2 (*)
Now the takeover of (not yet fixed and visible) instance IDs works, if within a group the group/raid leader changes and the group/raid leader has no assigned ID for this instance.

  • NPC: General changes within the movement system(*)
General changes within the movement system have been implemented. In doing so, the algorithm has been reworked, which was responsible to determine a point “near” a target. So far, in a few cases invalid x- and y-coordinates have been calculated, so that the z-coordinate wasn’t useful anymore.

  • PvE: General changes regarding the loot system (*)
General changes regarding the loot system have been implemented. With this implementation the bug shall be fixed that under certain circumstances it was possible to get loot of NPCs / chests, although you weren’t qualified for the loot at the time of the kill.

(*)
These changes interfere profoundly in the system. Hence, they could only be tested limited and unexpected crashes / bugs / etc. might happen. Here too, however, applies that any errors have to be immediately reported and taking advantage of such an error is, of course, as always forbidden.
"There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man."
(Patrick Rothfuss, The Wise Man's Fear)
